Pasta scraps recovery

Benefits

  • Elimination of waste.
  • Automatic management of line waste.

Applications

Recovery of spaghetti pasta scraps and production waste.

Cuts of broken dough are recovered manually or automatically by a pneumatic suction conveyor circuit at the end of the line.

They are ground into smaller particles by a hammer crusher, then sent to a buffer that feeds a rolling mill. The rolling mill finely grinds the dough, reducing it back into powder form just like the original flour.

A plansichter then finely sieves the powder, with coarser particles sent for further grinding. The recycled powder is stored in a silo until it is introduced back to the production line.
